ISO 9001 Certified for the Fourth Year Running – here’s to continuous improvement!
We are delighted to announce that after having an approved auditor visit the studio last week. Formation Media has achieved ISO 9001 re-certification for the fourth consecutive year!
As a business, we pride ourselves on continuous improvement and increasing customer satisfaction. That’s why we opt in to the ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification.
ISO 9001 is a quality management system certification that ensures that quality management principles are stuck to, including but not limited to continuous improvement and the processed approach. It has implications on Formation’s top management and ensures a strong customer focus throughout the company. This ISO certification has helped us to ensure that our clients have peace of mind and receive high-quality, consistent products and services.
We passed surveillance on our fourth year with flying colours. This year, our auditors noted zero Nonconformities or Opportunities for Improvement (OFIs) with our procedures as with our previous audit during the assessment. Given the challenges the COVID-19 pandemic and the cost of living have presented for us and many other businesses over the past few years, we are particularly proud of this achievement and the company's continuous improvement. Such an accolade reflects our process-driven workflow, enabled remotely by our bespoke software system GLOWT, and our accountability for maintaining high standards in our services and content.

With a proven record of delivering business growth for industry leaders, the re-certification keeps us on a par with our high-profile clients in the manufacturing sector, many of whom are also ISO 9001 certified. It also provides them with the continued assurance of our commitment to the standard and our desire to offer an unrivalled standard of work consistently. In addition, we can continue reviewing and improving our internal processes and output for the benefit of our clients.
HR and Quality Management Director David Dunlop, who spearheaded the re-certification, said,
