Our Comms Team is on the lookout for a Digital Marketing Assistant to support the success of campaigns we run for our clients.
At Formation Media we are digital engineers. We supply outstanding digital projects for our clients, from software and websites to video and marketing campaigns. With exciting new global clients joining us, we’re delighted to be expanding!
This is an entry-level role that gives the successful candidate an opportunity to develop their marketing knowledge and skills. As a full-service agency, we have a range of different creative departments in-house so there will be opportunities for exploring or pursuing a specialism such as SEO or copywriting.
The successful candidate will:
Conduct research to support article writing, as well as competitor research and market research
Support Account Management by briefing jobs into relevant teams
Help to plan and implement Google Ad campaigns
Use platforms such as Google Analytics, Data Studio and social media platform specific analytics to compile reports
Use WordPress to edit webpage content and enter SEO metadata
Monitor client inboxes and respond to emails
Write copy for social posts
Be involved in collaborative, creative brainstorming of marketing ideas
Answer the phone and door, and greet any visitors
Be responsible for identifying and pursuing opportunities for their professional development, alongside their Line Manager
Who are you?

Have a demonstrable interest in digital marketing
Have an understanding of digital marketing practices
Be confident in using (or learning) online platforms such as Google Analytics and WordPress
Be able to conduct research, using critical thinking
Be an analytical thinker when it comes to drawing conclusions from data and making recommendations
Be friendly and polite over the phone, by email and in person
Be a clear communicator, both verbally and in writing
Be proactive, use initiative and bring enthusiasm to the role
