Due to continued and further forecasted growth, Formation Media are looking to employ a Creative Copywriter. The candidate will sit within the Communications Team, but often work alongside Account Manager, Video and Studio Teams to develop written content for collaborative projects. These might include articulating value propositions, writing interview questions or website copy, for example.
Working within the Comms Team, you’ll be working on article content for our retainer clients – writing case studies, content marketing articles and press releases, ensuring that the content complements the marketing strategy for the account. You’ll also be working with our SEO specialists on copy for larger, web-based projects, taking their keyword recommendations into consideration.
You’ll have the opportunity to help develop crisis management strategies for all accounts, learn how to craft newsletters and write marketing and software awards submissions. Alongside this, you’ll be working closely with the social media team on social media content and campaigns for our client’s social media channels. As our Formation family is continually growing, we have a very ‘hands-on’ approach to work – you’ll occasionally be required to get involved in other areas of the business, supporting members of the team with jobs such as LinkedIn prospecting and creating marketing reports.
You’ll be passionate about copywriting – keen to take on a variety of creative and corporate-style writing challenges. You’ll have a good grasp of the English language and be confident in adjusting your tone and writing style to suit each of our clients.
You’ll be working closely alongside a variety of in-house professionals including members of the marketing, graphic design and development team, so good communication and a positive team ethic is a must.
You’ll be enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and be able to juggle a continually evolving workload across multiple clients.
In short, you’ll be friendly, passionate and hard-working – you’ll be keen to develop personally and professionally, and won’t be afraid to get involved in new projects. Experience of the manufacturing, legal or financial sectors would be helpful but not imperative.
