Formation are delighted to announce the successful rebrand and website launch of another client: Parsons. Parsons are a specialist in providing wet chemical fume scrubbing and odour abatement solutions to many different sectors, including chemical, pharmaceutical, food processing, and water treatment. Thanks to our extensive experience producing marketing and digital projects for the engineering sector, Parsons could be assured they were in safe hands.
What was requested?
On initially meeting Parsons, we dedicated time to establishing a solid understanding of the products and services Parsons provide. As a long-standing company, Parsons are leaders within their field, but their website and branding was looking tired and their social media and digital marketing presence was non-existent. After briefing, we proposed and set into place a multichannel strategy which included:
What we did
For the new brand identity, we first workshopped key ideas around the current branding, and established the direction they wanted to move towards. The old branding was a serious charcoal grey, which reflected the industrial side of Parsons well, but didn’t fit with their focus on environmental issues, something they’ve been working on for almost 40 years. After a few different versions, Parsons settled on the new green and white branding, which consisted of a fusion between reskinning legacy branding and introducing new design concepts.
We mapped out a new website, identifying any additional pages or functions that were required, including a new services menu and a much more detailed case studies page. We chose several motifs and icons to use throughout the website to offer an easy way to navigate the website whilst contributing to design by breaking up colour and spacing.
We established the social media channels and how these would operate, primarily working with Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. These would come under our Circle of Engagement package, a full digital marketing management package in which we create content and actively manage social traffic. This means posting content, sourcing contacts, and talking to new potential leads via social media.

The branding really brings the website together and has a cohesive, modern feel that reflects the nature and values of the business, and the social media management has also taken off well and continues to look promising for the future.
